The Aeroponics Revolution

You may be familiar with hydroponics, the science of growing plants without soil. Some say that hydroponics dates back over 2500 years to the Hanging Gardens of Babylon. Hydroponics has been in use in the modern world for almost 100 years.
Aeroponics is of much more recent origin than hydroponics. It is considered a major advance because instead of directly immersing the plant roots in water, it sprays the roots with nutrient solution and prevents them from rotting due to lack of oxygen. Because aeroponic systems balance irrigation with oxygenation, the plants grow faster, are more disease-resistant, and can grow to their full potential.
SOLARIS represents the pinnacle of aeroponic technology by gently micro-aerosolizing the water and nutrients onto the plant roots, keeping them most but not submerged, allowing the highest levels of root oxygenation, and giving the plants time to absorb the nutrients as they collect in tiny droplets on the roots. This means the healthiest, most vigorous plants and the best-tasting produce.
Grow Your Own Greens

What do you know about the produce sold in stores? Is it grown with petrochemical fertilizers? Were synthetic pesticides used? Was the produce dusted with toxic fungicides? To extend its shelf-life, was the producer further treated with preservatives? To improve its appearance, were colorants added? Was it irradiated before packing for the long haul to the store? Individually, these are all serious questions. Taken together, they can be disastrous to your health.
Some people think that buying organic means that they are eating safely. Unfortunately, this may not be true. The organic label is not controlled by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). Rather, it is privately-controlled and available for purchase by anyone with the means to pay for it. Moreover, many organic farmers mix manure into their soils. As a result, their produce is often recalled due to E. coli contamination, leading the United States Food and Drug Administration (USDA) to warn consumers not to eat these organically-grown foods. So what can you do?
You can grow your own. The best way to know what you grow is to grow it yourself. Growing with a SOLARIS system means feeding yourself and your family the cleanest, the most toxin-free foods on the planet. SOLARIS systems are the easiest, soil-free, no-mess way to grow! Protect your loved ones and feed them fresh farm-grown foods cultivated in the safety of your own home. It’s the only way to be sure.
Combat Climate Change / Feed and Decarbonize

Scientists, governments, and citizens around the world agree that our planet’s climate is changing rapidly. Global warming results from heat trapped in the atmosphere due to CO2 released from our burning fossil fuels. The levels of CO2 measured in our atmosphere are now at least 417 ppm, way above where it was in 1950, 1850, or at any time over the last 800,000 years. This is why many areas are getting hotter, having more extreme weather, are turning into deserts, are being submerged under rising ocean levels, and are becoming uninhabitable for human beings. What can you do about this?
Most countries around the world are beginning to implement laws requiring reductions in carbon emissions and increases in the use of sustainable energy. That is why you are seeing so many more electric cars on the road. But we need to do more. We need to actively combat climate change by reducing the amount of CO2 that is trapped in the atmosphere. And the best way to do this is to grow plants. Plants sequester carbon dioxide and turn it back into safe, clean, edible carbon – – the carbon they need to grow. Because SOLARIS systems are the fastest way to grow clean, delicious produce, they are also the most effective and sustainable way to remove climate-changing CO2 from the atmosphere. No other grow system measures up to SOLARIS’ ability to decarbonize. In fact One million SOLARIS systems can sequester over 3.6 gigatons of atmospheric carbon dioxide per year. That’s our goal – – and more – -one system at a time. Start yours now and join our green revolution!
Supergreens by SOLARIS

Greens grown in SOLARIS systems are among the healthiest on the planet. The reasons are clear. To begin with, they are free from the poisonous petrochemical fertilizers and synthetic pesticides common in commercially-grown agriculture. Next, because SOLARIS’ greens are grown aeroponically, they are free from soil-borne pathogens. Most important, your SOLARIS-grown produce is alive when you harvest it. In contrast to dying store-bought cut greens, this means that they are at their peak nutrient content and flavor. When you harvest plants from a SOLARIS system, they come with their entire root system intact. This means that you can put the greens in a bowl of water for a little while until you are ready to prepare them for salads, juicing, stir-frying, etc. This will help ensure their exceptionally high nutrient content.
SOLARIS supergreens are packed with bioactive phytochemicals including polyphenols, flavonoids, anthocyanidins, phytoestrogens, terpenoids, carotenoids, and of course, plant-based fibers. These are all known to protect against obesity, diabetes, heart disease, and cancer. Isn’t it is better to ingest micro quantities of these polyphenols now than having them infused later as chemotherapy?
Highest Yields

SOLARIS is the highest-yielding aeroponic grow system ever available to the consumer. Many systems grow only 4-6 plants at a time. The next most productive system on the market grows 44 plants, but you will need to climb a ladder to use it. SOLARIS packs a whopping 120 plants into it’s a system with a smaller overall footprint. How do we do it? We developed specialize science behind our grow site sequencing to achieve the highest available density per cubic foot. This means that SOLARIS systems are easily three times more productive than its closest competitor…with less water per plant, less energy, less water, and less work!
Fastest Growth

Most ground-grown greens take at least 2 months to reach maturity. The best hydroponic systems cut that time in half. SOLARIS grows even faster than that. You will be able to finish microgreens in two weeks and harvest mature plants starting at just 3 weeks. We do not use any synthetic hormones or growth accelerators. Instead, SOLARIS systems are designed to provide the plants with the full complement of nutrients they require where they need it, when they need it, and how they need it. The science behind our proprietary irrigation system is unique and has been shown to advance nutrient uptake and accelerate plant growth over competitors’ systems by at least 25%. Try one and see for yourself.
Easy to Set Up and Use

SOLARIS’ advanced engineering utilizes specialized patent-pending modular systems to make it easy to flatpak the kit for shipping, easy to assemble, and easy to use. You can literally take it out of the box and follow a simple video to put it together in minutes. SOLARIS’ unique and resilient system is based in click-together panels that form octagonal rings. These rings nest on top of one another to form the sturdy tree-like structure. Set the dome on top and you are done. We show you how to add water and nutrients to get started with your first crop right away!
Most Economical

Why pay over $500 for a system that supports no more than 44 plants when you can spend less than that for a SOLARIS system that will yield you three times that number and more? The math doesn’t lie. Our most successful competitors’ cost per plant is on the order of $20 or more. Our cost per plant is more like $4. That is one-fifth the cost! Compared with buying greens in the market, this means that your system will pay for itself after the first two harvests. After that, your crops are pure green!
No Toxic Soil / No Petrochemical Fertilizers

Let’s talk about dirt. Do you know what is really in it? Probably not. Soil contains billions of bacteria and fungi. Some of these are very helpful to the plants. Others may be toxic. Yet when plants are grown in dirt, it is almost impossible to tell one bacteria from another. Worse, soil can be laden with toxins including heavy metals and pollutants of many kinds. And even more worrying, some soils like those in Hawaii support organisms that pass on dangerous viral pathogens such as the viruses that lead to Rat Lungworm Disease. Are you willing to take that chance or do you want to do away with dirt? Because SOLARIS systems are uniquely biodynamic, they help control ‘bad’ microbiota and help cultivate ‘beneficials’ instead. This makes your plants more vigorous, more disease-resistant, and healthier to eat. Because SOLARIS is biodynamic, it naturally cultivates key precursors to plant growth and nutrition. We supplement these with healthy NPKs (nitrogen-phosphorous-potassium) and other key micronutrients, resulting in sustainably-grown greens that look, feel, and taste much better than what you can buy in the stores. The truest way to trust what you eat is to grow your own!
Use Indoors or Out

SOLARIS combines the best science, engineering, and aesthetics of any vertical grow system available. Use it outdoors with the integrated solar power system and it becomes grid energy free. Use it indoors with the low power AC option, or even with its grow light accessory. It is the most energy-sustainable system available.
At the beginning, when your plants are small, the system looks like a beautiful renaissance tower. With each passing day, the plants grow visibly and its appearances changes. Soon it looks like a beautiful tree covered in green leaves. Plus the soft sound is very relaxing! If you have ever wanted a gentle fountain, SOLARIS is just the thing. Its proprietary irrigation system makes a soft pitter-pat sound like what you might hear during a light rain. And because the sound is under 40dB, it is a perfect white noise for an indoor environment, or on your patio, terrace, or yard.
Beyond Organic / The Only True Biodynamic System

Biodynamics represent a holistic, ecological, and ethical approach to farming, gardening, food, and nutrition. It views agricultural ecosystems as living entities where all organisms benefit through cooperation and symbiosis. SOLARIS is the only true vertical aeroponic system to adapt biodynamic principles by internally cultivating plant growth promoting bacteria (PBPBs), plant growth promoting fungi (PGPFs), and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMFs) along with bio-control factors (BCFs) and bio-control agents (BCAs) to promote healthy, clean, nutrient-dense edible greens that help promote gut health through transfer of a healthy biome. In this way, biodynamic farming is a far more advanced and sustainable method of growing than the traditional organic label. Plus, it contributes to social and economic health. Owing to SOLARIS’ endogenous cultivation of symbiotic microorganisms so critical to plant growth and vigor, we are the only true biodynamic system available.
Truly Vertical

In contrast to many horizontal racked systems, SOLARIS is truly vertical. Plants grow along its vertical walls in a specialized pattern that allows each plant maximal light, water, and nutrients. This is the most efficient system available and also the one that is easiest for you to use.
How efficient is it? In the same space that a traditional soil farmer can grow 4-6 lettuces, SOLARIS can grow up to 240. That’s forty times more efficient per cubic foot. And we do this with less water, energy, and labor than other agricultural systems. That’s why we say that SOLARIS truly helps sustainable agriculture “Grow Up!”
The Most Water Efficient System Available

Most traditional land-based agricultural systems are extremely water-intensive and unsustainable. What does this mean? Typically the water is piped in from a distant watershed and irrigated into man-made fields. This water seeps down through the earth and basically disappears, resulting in watershed depletion and one-time use of one of our planet’s most precious resource. When you consider that the United States Geological Survey (USGS) considers groundwater our most important natural resource, you can begin to appreciate the magnitude of the problem that commercial agriculture and soil-based farming represents.
Now for the good news: SOLARIS systems are 99% water-efficient over traditional farming. In fact, thanks to its novel closed-loop recycling micro-irrigation system, the technology is more efficient on a plant-by-plant basis than any of its closest competitors. This means that the water you add to the reservoir can only escape the system through transpiration at the plants’ leaves. This saves money in your water bill and also helps safeguard a precious natural resource, making SOLARIS the leader in agricultural water sustainability.
No Net Pots / No Plastic Waste

SOLARIS system superstructures are manufactured with post-consumer waste food-safe plastic. This means that each system in use has taken plastic out of the ocean or from a landfill somewhere on Earth. Because they are designed to last for a minimum of 5 years, this means that at least 60 crop cycles can be cultivated in that time. Using a few pounds of recycled plastic to generate over 3,600 pounds of edible foods is an excellent equation. And yet, we do even better than that.
Most of our competitors use what are known as “net pots” in their hydroponic and aeroponic systems. These look like small plastic flower pots with many slits or holes for the roots to grow through. These net pots are harvested with the plants. Because the roots grow through the net pots, the pots cannot be separated from the plants without damaging the plant’s root system and harming it. In essence this means that people who use competitors’ systems are basically harvesting plastic when they harvest plants. When we engineered the SOLARIS system, we paid special attention to this wasteful use of plastic and developed systems that require NO NET POTS. The unexpected benefit of this R&D effort was to create a system that is not only more sustainable, but allows you to harvest the whole plant with its entire root system intact. A whole plant is a live plant and a live plant is far more nutrient-dense and tasty than a dead one. Try it for yourself and see!
Let’s think this through. When you buy produce in the store, you are also buying into the single-use plastic for the bag and/or the clamshell that it is packaged in. So when you grow in SOLARIS, you are not only eliminating the plastic waste from net pots in other grow systems, but also from bags and clamshells used in the store. And if you want to be thorough, you are also eliminating the extra carbon used in burning fossil fuels to get to the store and back. So when we say “Grow with SOLARIS and save a species from extinction,” you can see that it really is no stretch at all.
No Falling Over

Let’s face it: many of the vertical grow systems on the market have a bad habit of falling over. Because they are tall and thin, they can get very top-heavy and become unstable. One brand in particular is well-known for blowing over in the wind. Two problems occur when it tips and falls over. First, all the water pumps out the top and the plants dry up and die. Second, when the towers hit the ground, they tend to crack and break. So much for your investment.
We spent years in R&D to design out the flaws common to other systems – – including the problem of falling over. To begin with, our systems do not need to be as tall as some of the others on the market. This is a very good thing because you will not need to get up on a ladder to use them. Everything is designed to be ergonomically placed within easy reach. Our systems also utilize a patent-pending integrated nutrient reservoir, allowing them to support more plants. And because of their wide base, low center of gravity, and excellent width-to-height ratios, SOLARIS systems cannot be blown over in a wind or tipped over by accident. SOLARIS systems are the most resilient, reliable, and dependable vertical aeroponic ever designed. You will love using it!
A Living Sculpture / A Gentle Fountain

Form follows function: SOLARIS is designed to provide maximal yields under optimal grow conditions with the least water, energy, and effort on your part. Because of this, SOLARIS systems are also beautiful structures. When first planted, they resemble soaring white-domed towers of the Italian Renaissance. As the plants grow visibly with each passing day, they become greener until they cover the superstructure entirely and look like study green trees. You will enjoy watching your plants grow from one day to the next. When it is time to harvest, the plants will be easy to remove — roots and all – from their grow sites. Now you are back to a bright white sculpture and ready to plant again. All this time, when the system is running, you will hear the soft pattering of rain as the irrigation system finely sprays nutrient solution onto the plant roots in its interior. Unlike other systems that run 70 dB or louder (equal to the noise of a toilet flushing) SOLARIS is designed to be whisper quiet at less than 40 dB. Use your SOLARIS system indoors and enjoy the pitter-pat of soft rain when you are nearby. Walk to the other room and you will probably no longer hear it. When you keep your system on your terrace, porch, or yard, you will enjoy the soft white noise it makes. SOLARIS is a living sculpture, a gentle fountain, and a meditation garden all in one!
The Only Solar Powered Vertical Aeroponic Grow System

SOLARIS is the only solar-powered vertical aeroponic system available. Our proprietary and patent-pending technology allows you to grow super clean supergreens without using any electricity whatsoever. With its integrated solar photovoltaic system, your SOLARIS tower will operate all day long outside under properly insolated conditions. This means that you can grow all the greens you need and combat climate change by sequestering atmospheric CO2 without using any electricity from the grid. Don’t want to rely on solar? Plug it in. Thanks to its proprietary engineering, on a plant-for-plant basis, SOLARIS uses only 10% of the power that its competitors require. That’s sustainable!
The Only Self-Propagating Vertical Aeroponic Grow System

SOLARIS is the only vertical aeroponic grow system designed with integrated propagation! What does this mean? With all the other systems, you will have to seed your substrate and start it in a separate propagation system. Many people use soak-and-drain tables or small hand-watered seed trays for this task. When the seedlings are ready, they then transplant the substrate into their grow systems. But why go to the trouble of doing this when you can start your seeds right in your SOLARIS system? As one of many proprietary patent-pending innovations, we have designed a simple method that allows you to propagate your plants directly in your system, thereby avoiding the need for a separate propagation device and the effort to transplant.
You Are What You Eat

If you are OK with eating store-bought produce that was grown in artificial topsoil mixed with petrochemical fertilizers, treated with synthetic fungicides, and sprayed with toxic insecticides, you may not need to grow your own. But if you seeking optimal health, a boost to your immune system, and the best protection against obesity, diabetes, heart disease, and cancer, you may want to start growing your own greens with SOLARIS. If you really are what you eat, are people who eat fast food faster? What about the people spending extra money in upscale markets and getting “organically-grown” greens? If these greens are grown in soil mixed with manure, what does that make them? To be fair, everyone wants to eat well and be healthy. The fact is that there is only one way to do this.
Research demonstrates that transitioning to a primarily plant-based diet is not only good for you, but it is also good for the planet. Raising red meat, fish, and poultry is incredibly resource-intensive and sends tons of climate-changing carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. So if you want to protect your health and the health of future generations, grow your supergreens in a SOLARIS system and watch the pounds melt away. You will also benefit by the peace of mind arising from the knowledge that every plant harvested is equivalent to a measure of climate change reversed. With your help we can turn the Earth back into the blue-green paradise that it was meant to be! And if you eat virgin greens from your SOLARIS system, you could be around for many years to enjoy it.
Preparing for Food Scarcity

If you have been paying attention to the news, then you know three things. First, you know that we are experiencing supply chain issues with farm-grown foods. The inevitable law of Supply-and-Demand means that this will lead to food scarcity. And this is already happening. You may have seen it for yourself with fewer choices at the store. But food insecurity also means something else. It means that prices are going up. With the advent of the coronavirus epidemic, in 2020 food prices climbed 3-5%. While the numbers are not in yet for 2021, estimates for food inflation are already topping the 5% figure While that may not seem like a lot, remember that these inflation numbers compound each year. This means that a bunch of leafy greens that used to cost $3 will now cost $5. With increasing scarcity, next year that same bunch could cost upwards of $7. Why pay $7 for a bunch for greens of unknown quality when you can grow the healthiest produce on the planet at home? And now for some math: at just $5 per bunch, each harvest from your SOLARIS Producer system is worth $1,200. Similarly, each harvest from your Farm system is worth $2,400…and that is not counting the IRS Section 45Q tax incentives for sequestering and storing carbon oxides. As food prices continue to rise and as quality greens become more and more scarce, having your own easy-to-use food grow system will increasingly become a no-brainer. Like so many of us who are joining the green revolution, you too will be saying that “green is the new gold.”
Non-Stop Crops

Here’s something else that you can do with your SOLARIS system that is difficult or impossible to do with any other system: you can grow and harvest crops continuously. Because SOLARIS is octagonal, you can plant and harvest each side on a rotating basis: one side one week, another side the next week, and so on. You can also stagger your plant & harvest routine at each level or even by individual grow sites. This means that you will always have greens ready to harvest at any given time. Owing to its proprietary, patent-pending design, this means that where you have 120 grow sites in your Producer model and a full 240 grow sites in your Farm model. As a result you can aensure an unlimited supply of greens at all times
Great for Microgreens and Juicing

Want microgreens fast? Want the tastiest and most nutritious supergreens for juicing? There are many reasons why plants grow faster and more nutrient-rich in SOLARIS systems. Speed and quality is especially valuable when raising microgreens. Depending upon the variety you grow, you can see results in just 10-15 days! And if you want to juice, there’s no better way to ensure that what you put into your body is clean and healthy than to grow it yourself. Your kale, chard, spinach – – you name it – – will grow faster and be ready sooner than in other systems. Additionally, with 120 grow sites in our Producer model and 240 grow sites in our Farm model, you will never run out of plants to harvest and juice. In fact, SOLARIS is the only system of its kind that can be farmed continuously so that you always have mature plants on hand for yourself, your family, and your friends. SOLARIS offers the best user-experience of any similar system on the planet.
The System of Choice for Urban Farmers

Urban farming – where people grow crops in urban and metropolitan areas – is a rapidly growing solution to the problem of commercial agriculture . In this way it represents both a solution and a huge enterprise opportunity. To be successful, urban farmers need to grow as much produce as possible in the limited spaces available to them. This means going vertical, and there is no more productive vertical system available than SOLARIS. Sold at just $3 per head, this means that an urban farmer can gross $3600 with just five SOLARIS Farm systems. Sold at $5 per head, an urban farmer can gross $6,000/month, and because SOLARIS systems are virtually self-sustaining, this can be achieved as a side gig while doing other things. Now imagine a space that is just 1,000 square feet: the size of a small apartment or one section of the rooftop of an apartment building. In that space, an urban farmer could operate 40 SOLARIS Farm systems and gross almost $30,000/month. With the additional carbon tax credits that the government offers, the actual earnings could be much higher. Nothing beats SOLARIS for the economics of urban farming. Who We Are

We at Solaris Aeroponics, Inc. are a group of socially-responsible, environmentally-conscious scientists, engineers, botanists, and entrepreneurs who care about the big problems of our time: hunger, climate change, and economic justice. Solaris’ CEO Dr. Douglas E. Hersh invented the system through years of iterative R&D to put it in a class of its own with exceptionally high yields of clean, nutrient dense crops that grow faster than in any other system. It is designed to use the least water, the least energy, and the least effort of any commercially-available vertical aeroponic system. Our goal is to see one million SOLARIS systems operating worldwide in the next five years to yield over 250 billion edible plants, provide micro-enterprise opportunities for women, minorities and poor people in least-developed countries, and sequester over 36 million tons of atmospheric carbon dioxide per year. And that’s just a start. Feel free to contact the inventor at douglas@solarisaeroponics.com
Our Mission

SOLARIS Aeroponics, Inc. was established to leverage the potential of our innovative technologies to provide a singular solution to our most pressing world problems: hunger, climate change, and economic injustice. Owing to rampant consumption of fossil fuels and the profit-driven practices of modern industrial farming, our climate has hit a tipping point where it will soon become impossible to depend upon land-grown crops. To sustain ourselves and the environment that we all depend upon for our existence, we will have to make two big changes. First, we will have to grow our greens and other food staples with the most water and resource sustainable vertical aeroponic systems. Then we will have to decentralize our food production so that we are growing what we need where we need it. Finally, we have to make it possible for anyone to do this by making sure to get these systems into the hands of those who need them the most: people in underserved communities who want to become urban farmers, poor people in least developed countries (LDCs), women, and minorities who do most of the farming worldwide. Imagine a world with forests of solar-powered SOLARIS systems feeding everyone, cleaning the atmosphere, and generating pure oxygen. To quote John Lennon, “You may say I’m a dreamer. But I’m not the only one. I hope someday you’ll join us. And the world will be as one.”
Reducing Hunger and Malnutrition

Even as you read this, over 650 million people are starving worldwide. This number that is expected to increase to 850 million people by 2030. Yet with the global coronavirus pandemic, the number of people who suffer from pervasive hunger will likely top 1 billion. What can we do in the face of so staggering a problem? To begin with, we must understand the reasons for hunger. Today hunger is fueled by conflict, climate change, and poverty. The $10 billion a year that the US and its partners spend in food aid does not fix the problem. Rather, it only keeps starving people hungry. Worse, most of the foods that are shipped to the starving consists of dried cereals and grains, representing empty calories that do not help children grow or keep people healthy. Instead of giving people a fish, we want to teach people to fish by distributing SOLARIS systems to their villages and showing them how to farm with them. Foods grown in SOLARIS systems will complement their diets by providing not just additional calories, but also the critical vitamins and minerals they need to build healthy, disease-resistant bodies. A single SOLARIS Farm system can help feed several families. A few systems can help feed a village. Help us bring life-giving food to the millions who are starving today by donating to the SOLARIS Foundation at hunger@solarisaeroponics.com
Combating Climate Change

For years scientists have been warning us that burning fossil fuels will put unhealthy levels of CO2 in our atmosphere that will trap radiant heat from returning to space and cause the planet to heat up. Now we are experiencing it. You see the evidence all around you in terms of unusually hot days, weird weather, wildfires, floods, and other catastrophes. We must start immediately to reduce the amount of carbon dioxide that is trapped in the atmosphere. But how? First by transitioning away from burning fossil fuels and towards sustainable energies like solar, wind, and geothermal. To accomplish this, many things will need to change. For example, the entire model of modern industrial agriculture will have to give way to decentralized urban farming. But there’s more we must do.
You have probably begun to hear about efforts to sequester and store atmospheric carbon dioxide. Most of these plans involve complex technologies requiring great energy inputs. As a result, the net carbon reduction will be minimal. So how can we effectively decarbonize and get our climate back under control? Simple: grow plants. Plants grow by photosynthesis. By means of this process, they breathe in carbon dioxide and turn it into the carbon that makes up their leaves, stalks, and roots. They breathe out oxygen, which is what animals need to live. One of the most effective ways to grow plants is through SOLARIS systems. Our systems are designed to yield the greatest crop biomass with the least energy, water, and labor. In fact, since our proprietary, patent-pending systems are designed to grow on solar power only, we can honestly claim that we decarbonize with no grid energy whatsoever. That’s a first!
Here are the numbers. In a space of only 1,000 square feet, SOLARIS systems can yield over 115,000 edible greens and sequester as much as 15,000 lbs. of carbon oxides per year. When placed on a small 1-acre farm, these systems can produce over 5 million heads/year and sequester 500,000 lbs. of carbon oxides. One million SOLARIS systems can yield over 250 billion edible plants and sequester over 36 million tons of atmospheric carbon dioxide per year. That’s beginning to add up. When you consider that there are approximately eight billion people on the planet, a million SOLARIS systems does not seem like a lot.
What if there was just one SOLARIS system for every one-hundred people on the planet? Certainly there would be plenty of healthy greens for everyone. Yet in addition to that, every year we could sequester and store over 1.4 million megatons of atmospheric carbon dioxide a year. Combined with transitioning to more sustainable energy use, this could actually solve the problem quite rapidly. In fact, it can solve the biggest three problems we face today, and all at once: hunger, climate change, and economic injustice. Yet the story gets even better. Because all the coal and oil we burn today was once plant life, by turning it back into healthy greens we are actually becoming part of the cycle of nature that will restore the planet and its biodiversity, including us. So the options are pretty simple: we can either establish harmony with nature now or we can go extinct. We at Solaris Aeroponics believe that, unlike the dinosaurs, humanity has a choice. Providing Nutritional Justice by Enabling Access to Nutrient-Rich Foods

Who has regular access to healthy food? Do you? What about the billions of people on this earth who through no fault of their own are very poor? The answer is that no one really does.
You don’t have access to healthy food because almost everything you eat is industrially grown. If you eat meat, that chicken, beef, or pork is probably raised on factory farms where these animals suffer greatly before they are slaughtered. If you eat fish, that fish is either scooped out of the sea in vast nets (along with dolphins, porpoises, sea turtles, and other “bi-catch”) or it is raised in huge man-made pools called fish farms. These fish farms operate in such density that antibiotics and other incredibly harmful additives are mixed into the water in great quantities. You are what you eat. This is true for other foods as well, including all the things you eat and drink on a daily basis. This includes all the greens you are eating which are raised with petrochemical fertilizers, synthetic pesticides, toxic fungicides, and much, much more. The only way to escape this is to grow it yourself.
Poor people don’t have access to healthy food because by definition, they have little or no access to food at all. Most Americans’ dogs and cats eat better than the 700 million or more people who are chronically hungry from day to day. It really is hard to believe.
We at Solaris Aeroponics came together to break this chain and to ensure that everyone has access to clean, healthy food. We invented the best system of sustainable produce cultivation ever made. We want to see people in affluent countries transition to a primarily plant-based diet and thus reduce the epidemic of obesity, diabetes, heart disease, and cancer that plagues those who currently eat factory foods. We also want to see SOLARIS systems sent to people in need – – whether in urban environments in our own country or rural areas abroad – – so that they can grow their own foods for themselves and their communities. Because SOLARIS systems reduce dependence on land, water, and resources, the result of having these systems operating worldwide will not only be sustainably-grown food for the hungry and meaningful reductions in climate-changing atmospheric carbon dioxide, but also greater world peace. Why do we say this? Because conflict is and always has been tied to a struggle for resources. Since SOLARIS systems grow unprecedented quantities of food with miniscule amounts of energy, water, labor and other resources, it is more than a platform for sustainable food production. Rather, it is system for establishing world peace. Join the SOLARIS revolution now and donate at growsolaris@gmail.com.
Ensuring Economic Justice by Catalyzing Micro-Enterprises

Our world is divided up into producers and consumers. At the wealthiest end of the spectrum, you have founders of companies like Amazon, Google, and Tesla who represent some of the wealthiest billionaires on the planet. Our shrinking middle class largely represents working people who are society’s primary consumers of goods and services. At the very bottom are the world’s poor, representing most of the planet’s population. Lack of access to capital prevents them from starting business and becoming producers. And with little to no income, what our world’s poorest peoples do is simply starve. This has to stop. But how?
Imagine a woman in India. She is married, takes care of children at home, and has no land to speak of. What if she had a SOLARIS system? With very little effort and using solar power alone, she could raise plenty of produce for her family and have enough left over to sell to her neighbors at a reasonable price. This is the essence of a micro-enterprise, defined as a small-scale business having a sole proprietor and operating with less than six employees. By getting enough SOLARIS systems into the hands of people like her, we could lift millions of people out of hunger and poverty. The time is now. Join us. Donate at microbiz@solaris.com
Supporting Social Justice by Focusing on Women, Minorities, and the Poor

We think that it would be really cool to see SOLARIS systems growing healthy greens on superyachts. But that’s really not our focus. We want to provide a realistic way for the people who suffer the most from economic and social injustice to change their lives for the better. Moreover, we believe that the highest justice is justice for all. This means for all people, all living beings, and all the animate and inanimate things that comprise this beautiful aquamarine gem we call planet Earth. The time has come to give people the power to grow their own healthy foods, to trade with their communities, and to feel that they are part of nature by contributing to the wellbeing of the planet.
SOLARIS does that. It gives people the power to grow healthy foods, to decarbonize our atmosphere, and to trade value for value. There is another name for this. It is called peace. What would peace on Earth look like? It is quite possible that none of us can fully imagine it. But we believe that that it will be built from the ground up by giving all peoples – – starting with the world’s very poorest – – equal access to the tools they need to feed themselves, earn a living, and make a meaningful life. In this moment of our greatest need, SOLARIS’ innovative vertical aeroponic technologies promise to help humanity “grow up.” Please help us by donating to social@solarisaeroponics.com
